Bawari Basanti - Dilli ke Dil Se-LIVE FROM KAMANI AUDITORIUM

On 20th November 2022, I staged my first live musical at Kamani Auditorium, New Delhi.  The story of Aarzoo came alive through a melange of music, shadow and dance.  I wanted to combine elements of stage design, light and storytelling through music.  The show was supported by my family and friends who brought together. brands like @archanaaggarwaltimelessjew6051 @biba @credoplanters3012 @redfm  @Insiderofficial to put this together with me.   With, Vaishnavi Mannava's Choreography,  performed along with Pallavi Verma and Tulika Shrivastava on shadow movements Light design by Tech Quartet Stage Design by Ravi Dayal  Musicians; @ejazhussain5077 (Sarangi)  Almudena Longares (Keys)  Mohit Lal (Tabla)  Abhishek Mittal (Guitars)  We brought to life the story of a woman, who narrates her journey's gyaan to her younger self, as she overcomes social pressures, stands up for her own, accepts mental health and self-care, as an important factor that needed her attention and nurture.  Each song represented a moment in a woman’s life, where she learns to hold her ground and embrace the new with each obstacle.  This show helped raise awareness around education for the girl child, in association with @prajanafoundation.  It was managed by Jyotsna Dayal Mathur, @gramsession @HouseConcertIn   I hope to bring more such productions to life in the near future, and help create works that sing unsaid truths about our lives and time.  Video by G.
